Coffee that would keep you active and alert the whole day

Office and business work is always tiring, awful and even sometimes boring. What do do you do then? Keep yawning or ask for a cup of steaming hot aromatic coffee or take a time out and go out in the open to shrug off your boredom or tiredness?

Well When I work and there are files piling up, I always ask for coffee - not ordinary coffee but a special coffee that my wife makes me for when I come home with that awful expression on my face. She knows that I needed to be shaken up and open up eyes as wide as possible for a refreshing and delicious dinner she has made for me and the family.

So should I let out the secret for those who want to be alert, active and energetic the whole day and come home as if they have been on a picnic? OK for the love of those who love coffee - a good refreshing cup of coffee, here is how this special coffee is made:

Ingredients:
Coffee - 3 teaspoons
Water  - 3 cups
Brown sugar (to taste and level of sweetness required)
3-4 pieces of clove
1 small stick of cinnamon
Cream
Icing Sugar

-->

Preparation
This is the easiest drink I can make myself as I learnt it - so here is how it is made:
  • Add coffee into the water in open mouthed pan and bring it to a boil
  • Add brown sugar, cloves and cinnamon and let the coffee bring out its true brown colour.
  • Stain and pour into cups (it will make three cups)
  • Add cream to taste
  • Sprinkle icing sugar over it (for decoration sake perhaps)
  • And then call me to drink it.
You see, it is as simple as that but it is full of vitality, energy and life that no kind of those varying colours of bull drinks can offer.

Galaxy S3 outscores iPhone 5 In Geek Benchmarking

The launch of iPhone 5 is being projected as one the biggest success for Apple - and surely it may seem so as its sales are surpassing all previous Apple sales records. But is it really worth buying?

Well just days after iPhone 5′s launch, CNET reported that the  iPhone 5 scores higher in benchmarks then the Samsung Galaxy S III. Those following Apple's new 'magic device; were really surpised besides shocking the Samsung Galaxy S III fans as GS3 has a Quad-Core processor that certaily outclasses iPhone 5's dual-core processor.

However, it has nopw dawned that the previous benchmarking was a fake and the results are positively in favour of Samsung Galaxy S III.

Previously it was reported that Samsung Galaxy S III scored 1588 on geekbench and the iPhone 5 scored 1602 but both the scores are wrong!. In reality the iPhone 5 scores 1590 instead of 1602 and Galaxy S3 scores an impressive 1766 instead of 1588.

See for yourself the latest bench marks:

While the war of the phones between Apple and Samsung will continue, it is up to the users to buy which set really answers all needs of the individuals. The crashing of Apple map app vis-a-vis is just one example which must be weighted by the users who rely on map apps more than anything else. Just buying a gadget because it is 'latest' and 'new' or in vogue and fashion to have it, may lead the heavy investment go waste when it comes to the actual performance of a smartphone.

For hobbyists, this is something of a caution who would just like to hold a gadget because it is in - even if it is hollow from inside.

Apple Maps: Not as good as Google

These days there is so much to talk about cell phones. We have so many phones coming up in the market with unique features, trying to overtake other competitors. While LG has thrown the Optimus G monster and Motorola has announced a 2GHz Intel processor for its RAZR, the focus of attention remains Apple's iPhone 5 and its features.

For a change, Apple has this time tried to rely on its own apps and technology, rather than banking on the borrowed one. And the new map app for iPhone 5 is one of the many features of iPhone 5 under scrutiny by analysts and users.

MG Siegler at TechCrunch: "I don’t think they’re as good as Google Maps, but they’re not bad by any stretch of the imagination," however he says that no public transit in the app sucks if you live in a town where public transit is important.

Well that is one view point, but others disagree and say that Apple's indigenous map app is a flop and difficult to handle. What do you say?

LG hops into the Phone war by launching Optimus G: Is it the most powerful Smartphone in the World?

While Apple with its iPhone 5 has 'vainly' tried to counter its close competitor Samsung's Galaxy S III and the war of the phones continues between the two, LG has also stepped into the war by launching their Optimus G - a smartphone that is being dubbed as 'the' most powerful smartphone in the world.
LG's monstrous Optimus G: A new market threat to Apple and Samsung
Soon after the launch of this monstrous, yet elegant smartphone by LG yesterday in Korea, the benchmark assessment of the Optimus G has really flabbergasted analysts and I am sure Apple and Samsung as well. Although Apple's iPhone 5 is a different class with a different OS exclusive to it, Optimus G falling in the same category of Samsung's Galaxy S III will surely pose a greater threat to Samsung in the smartphone category.

Only 8.45mm thin, Optimus G offers a 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus display offering up 1280 x 768 pixels. The LG smartphone, fitted with a 13 MP back camera and 1.3 MP front snapper, has a 2GB of RAM, which, combined with the S4 chip, will allow even greater efficiency when multi-tasking.

-->

Each facet of the LG smartphone, equipped with quad-core 28nm Krait SoC with Adreno 320 graphics core paired with its very popular 28nm LTE baseband, gives it a 'substantial edge' over Galaxy S III. One such benchmark analysis is as under:

But it is far below than Galaxy S III in browsemark bench marking:

Although the launch of Optimus G by LG sent ripples into the market already saturated by Samsung smartphone, it is too early to really examine its true capabilities, pros and cons. However, LG 's Optimus G has made its mark and gadget hobbyists and geeks will find it interesting to handle and bring out its true worth when it is launched later this year.

Samsung Galaxy S4 likely to be launched February 2013

Well the launch of Apple's iPhone 5 has disappointed many, even the Apple iPhone users. All that is new is that it is sleek and loner - just like a TV remote control. With a few small improvements here and there, there is nothing 'substantial' that could make someone really want to buy iPhone 5, except by those who want to hold a 'latest device,' nothing more, nothing less.

Samsung, which has better phones, easy to operate and load software, rather than getting into lengthy jailbreaking, is becoming more popular even in Apple's home country - the USA.

While Samsung Galaxy S III has shown better business and much more technologically advanced that the Apple devices, has now decided to bring in Samsung Galaxy S4.

As reported by Wahaab JB at Chip Hazard, the Galaxy S4 is reported to launch/unveil at the  annual Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona, Spain and would release the next month (March).

-->

The next Galaxy is likely to feature a five-inch screen (versus 4.8-inch on the SIII) and LTE capabilities and will allegedly run Samsung’s quad-core Exynos processor. From the outside, Samsung’s phone will “retain its popular rectangular shape with rounded corner concept”.

Well for those who have been disappointed by the grim features of iPhone 5, they have now a  new gadget coming early next year, which may overshadow the Apple's new iPhone 5 and force it to go for another iPhone 5 S(tretched) with no well defined edge over Samsung.

The 'war of phones' may never end between Samsung and Apple.

Do you NEED to buy iPhone 5?

Well now that the genie is out and Apple has unleashed its latest and much awaited iPhone, the oft question being asked now is: Do you need to buy iPhone 5, if you already have iPhone 4S?

Well to have a latest gadget in your hand may be one thing to show off, but would it bring any substantial change in the hardware you had been carrying in the form of iPhone 4S?

Well those who have iPhone 4S already and are a bit of tech geeks would know not to spend money for a marginal edge over their existing phone in its outward looks only - something sleek and lighter and of course new and 'latest.' But what resides inside is another story.

And the news is that Apple is reducing the price of iPhone 4S 16 GB model to $99 - well that is something substantial. With iPhone equipped with a 8MP camera, as iPhone 5 too has, what additional benefit one gets in buying a $199 iPhone?

Those buying iPhone 5 would say that it has new iOS 6, bringing in new features like a new Map App. But this map is to be downloaded separately and is not part of iOS 6.

And the sleek iPhone 5 is longer than iPhone 4S which slides easily in your pocket. Imagine iPhone 5's edge popping out of your pocket, like a lamp-genie itching to be released!!

Well soon the euphoria and hype of iPhone 5 would be over as more is known about its 'additional features' and hardware performance. And what if after a few weeks or months Apple announces iPhone 5S improving the drawbacks in iPhone 5 after customer feedback, just like it did after iPhone 4? What would you do then?

I think after reading comments and analyses on internet, I will hold on to my previous phone and wait till Apple brings out something substantial, competitive and inviting as compared to many advanced android based smartphones available in the market, free from the hassle of jailbreaking and other Apple and iPhone specific restrictions.

What are you thinking?

iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S(tretched)?

Well the 'genie' is finally out and the gadget and tech lovers are wanting to know more about the Apple's latest phone that had been delayed and delayed over and over again.

And what do we get: A phone little larger than the iPhone 4S or should I say iPhone 4 S(tretched)?

Well just looking at the photographs, there is no difference between iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 - except that it is a little longer and looks more like a TV's remote control, rather than a cellphone. Going by how Apple is progressing, one can find longer iPhones with no additional features as as happened just a couple of days ago.

The developing iPhones of future

I do not know whether Steve Jobs dreamt of a similar device when he was planning on iPhone 5 when alive, but the new iPhone certainly ushers in a new era of longer and slimmer phones. And you never know how the iPhone 10,20 or 30 would look like in future - may be just like Star Wars' like electronic swords.

So are you going to wait for the longer iPhones of future or be contended with the iPhone 4S(tretched) for the time being?

Kindle Fire 2 (Light Version) likely to be released 6th Septemebr

Good news for the tech geeks and hobbyists!!

Amazon is likely to release two new 7-inch Kindle Fire 2 tab devices during its major September 6th media event.

One of the devices is likely to be similar to the first-gen tablet released last year, but with better features to compete against equivalent tab devices like Google Nexus 7 and the upcoming iPad Mini.

And yet another good news is that the Amazon is reportedly making their upcoming Kindle Fire 2 tab available with the lowest prices ever by using ad-based mechanism to cover up their losses. The price of the ad-based device is expected to be as lower as $30 to $50 for a Kindle e-reader.
