One of the most liked hobby around the world is "collecting." But when it comes to the rich and famous, the complexion of the hobby changes - from ordinary match box covers or buttons, one finds people collecting yachts, airplanes, real estate or even wives.
Larry Ellison is one such billionaire. He's charming, arrogant and a spend-a-holic. He collects all things that only the super wealthy can afford: yachts, luxury real estate, airplanes, wives.
He's the kind of rich person most of us dream of being. And like most things about Ellison, the stories about his extravagance and his womanizing seem too over-the-top to be true.

Here is a look at the excessive lifestyle of Larry Ellison.
As you flip through the slide show, think to yourself, "If I had an endless supply of money, as does Larry Ellison, would I spend it like this?"

Live Streaming: The Quadrantids Meteor Shower

12:28 AM Jalal Hameed Bhatti

If you’re a fan of stargazing, tonight’s your night. The Quadrantids meteor shower, potentially the best natural lightshow of the year, will be visible Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. If you live in the Eastern United States, viewing conditions should be ideal, if a bit frigid.
The Quadrantids meteors should start to appear late tonight, but will only be visible for about six hours. The peak is predicted to be somewhere around 2:30 to 3 a.m., though io9 reports that the Quadrantids meteors are “notoriously unpredictable” in terms of intensity. NASA says it will be a “brief, beautiful” show.

NASA has set up a live video feed, via Ustream, at the organization’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL:

Download Latest TinyUmrella For iPhone 4S Running iOS 5.0.1 Build 2 (9A406) To Save SHSH Blobs

Notcom has just updated his TinyUmbrella utility with support for saving SHSH blobs of iOS 5.0.1 build (9A406) which was released for iPhone 4S only to address some bugs that prevailed in the device.
At the moment saving iOS 5.0.1 SHSH blobs won’t let you downgrade to the previous version of iOS firmware. When Apple would release another iOS update and would probably stop sigining this firmware (5.0.1), only then you would be able to downgrade to previous iOS firmware versions.

Spy vs Spy: Check Out These Amazing Photos Of Cold War-Era Spy Gadgets

6:36 PM Jalal Hameed Bhatti

Awhile ago, I wrote a post "Beware ! You are being watched." The post was about tiny spy devices and gadgets used by spies as hidden cameras during their professional pursuits. The post till date tops the most read post of Hobby Shobbys.

Today, I came across yet another compilation of gadgets at Business Insider and thought of sharing it with my viewers as this post also carries images of some amazing spy gadgets used during the Cold War era. Although attributed to the KGB, I am sure similar gadgets would been sed by CIA and other intelligence agencies around the world to keep an eye on the enemies jus like Spy vs Spy.

From Russian photoblog PhotoShtab.ru comes these great pictures of Cold War-era miniature gadgets that KGB spies and others used to monitor, smuggle, and kill (via RussiaEnglish).

Seeing as we have just seen the new adaptation of John Le Carre's Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, these photos are a another great reminder of how paranoid and insane that whole 'Cold War' period was.
