Pakistan Post a set of three commemorative stamps on September 11, 1948 on the eve of first death anniversary of its founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the first governor general of Pakistan. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, revered as the Quaid-e-Azam, could not live longer after Pakistan's creation in 1947 and died almost thirteen months later on September 11, 1948. The three stamps with face value of Anas 1.5 (brown), 3(green) and 10 (black). The first two stamps bore the inscription Quaid-e-Azam, 25 December 1876 - 11 September 1948, and his motto for Pakistan Unity, Faith and Discipline written in Urdu, while last stamp in lack had the same written in English. These stamps remained on sale till 1960.
The remaining 8 stamps that were put on sale in 1949 were the same as were published in 1948, but the only difference was that the direction of the crescent was changed from north east to north west to show it as a rising moon rather than a waning moon.
Of these stamps, I have only eight stamps. Only the crescent and star set is complete while the rest are devoid of one or a couple of stamps.
