Postage stamps of Indonesia from my collection

Indonesia, located in the Southeast Asia and Oceania, is a country of islands. It has approximately 17,508 islands, with a population of around 230 million people, Indonesia shares land borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and Malaysia. Other neighboring countries include Singapore, Philippines, Australia, and the Indian territory of theAndaman and Nicobar Islands.

The first postage stamp of Indonesia was issued on 17 August 1950. The stamps in my album are mostly of the early 1960s, bearing the portrait of first president of Indonesia Sukarno.
